The Solent Forts is a ‘children-free hotel’ for overnight stays. Whether you want to stroll around the upper deck or relax in our Spa we have found to be one of the most popular ‘adult only hotels’ in the UK, where there is no chance of being disturbed.

During your stay you can choose to do as much or as little as you like. We have a wide range of activities available at our Forts where you can while away the hours with a game of golf (yes golf), explore the Forts or participate in a cheese and wine tasting.

Perhaps you are looking for a ‘children-free-hotel’ to spend time with friends? Or you are looking for the perfect place to celebrate your engagement? Whatever the occasion we can guarantee you are booking with a hotel that’s perfect for grown-ups.

So why not take a trip to the south coast and feel the fresh air on your face as you walk around the upper decks of our forts? Although it’s nice to spend time with your children, we understand that there are moments when you just need some time to yourself.

Guests over the age of 18 may stay overnight at either of our Forts. Children between the ages of 13 and 17 are allowed to book a day experience, returning on the 4pm boat back to Gunwharf Quays.
