Taking your vows

The Crow’s Nest is licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies for up to 60 guests. A contemporary styled room, the stunning location is ever present thanks for floor to ceiling windows that allow unrestricted views across the Solent. This stunning vantage point near the top of the fort also benefits from a terrace.

The Victory Bar is licensed for up to 40 guests and is a warm, welcoming space showcasing the traditional Victorian architecture of the fort with sloping walls and exposed brickwork. The Laurent Perrier Champagne bar located here means your guests can enjoy some celebratory fizz while they wait.

The Officer’s Mess is also licensed for up to 40 guests and is a perfect blend of old and new with its modern furnishings complementing the historic, arched ceilings. For a ceremony or wedding breakfast, this is a setting full of charm and character.
A banquet (or barby) fit for a bride

Our chefs will work with you to create a menu to suit the style of your wedding. That may be freshly caught fish cooked to order on the barbecue, or a fine dining banquet of innovatively created delicacies.

Let the honeymoon begin

When the celebrations are waning, retire to the Churchill Honeymoon Suite for your first night as a married couple. With the waves gently lapping outside your window and the romantic glow of the moonlight as it touches the sea, we guarantee you a restful and relaxing night.

There are nine luxurious suites on Spitbank Fort, with eight in the main fort building, and the ninth located in the Crow’s Nest. Each boasts a glorious ensuite bathroom and large, ultra comfortable beds. With exposed brickwork and iron ceilings, the rooms are packed with character. Ambient lighting, plush furnishings and period furniture as well as a unique sea view remind you that you really are experiencing another level of luxury.
