The Spitbank Fort corporate team can arrange a number of activities for you, your employees or clients during your exclusive use event. Activities can be booked when you arrive or you can call to book in advance.

From Rib Rides on the Solent and Cheese and Wine Tasting to Lazer Battle and Cocktail Making in the Officer’s Mess, there is something for everyone to enjoy at a Spitbank Fort exclusive use event. Please visit our activities page to learn more about the activities we offer as part of our corporate exclusive use packages. Minimum numbers apply.

All guests are met at Gunwharf Quays, before being privately transferred to Spitbank Fort. Transfers to the Fort take no more than 25 minutes.

  • Virtual Tour

    Our virtual tour offers the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself and imagine what your corporate exclusive use event could look like. Using your computer mouse to navigate around Spitbank Fort, you can drop in to see our Superior and Junior bedroom suites, the crow’s nest, upper deck hot tubs, Victory Bar and much more.

  • Officer’s Mess

    Our Officer’s Mess offers the perfect setting for your meeting requirements, catering for up to 40 delegates. Our Victory Bar and Crow’s Nest can be used for additional meeting space should you require it with the Crow’s Nest offering stunning views of the Portsmouth and Isle of Wight coastline. An ideal meeting space for Blue Skies thinking! For larger groups up to 120 delegates, our sister fort, No Man's Fort offers the perfect setting.

  • Bedroom suites for overnight delegates

    We have two types of bedroom suites. Superior and Junior. Each room has a king size bed with one Junior bedroom offering a waterbed. Our rooms are very spacious offering an impressive 54 metres squared. You won’t be short of space. The bedrooms were where the cannons were housed back in the 1860s!

  • Wine Cellar and Wine and Cheese Tasting

    Our wine cellar is well stocked with a variety of world class wines to cater for all palettes. A Wine and Cheese tasting can be arranged and included as part of your bespoke corporate exclusive use package. Our wine cellar can be found in the sea bunker part of the fort. During your fort tour, you will get a chance to visit the wine cellar.

  • Espa corporate packages and treatments

    Should delegates wish to wind down during the day, Espa at Solent Forts, our Spa, is based on our sister fort, No Man’s fort. For all spa treatments we can include a private transfer to No Man’s Fort as part of your corporate package. Depending on the number of booked spa treatments, we can arrange for one of our spa therapists to visit Spitbank Fort.

  • Victory Bar

    After a dip in the hot tub, a sumptuous dinner, the Officer’s Mess is where you will be able to wind down and relax, making the most of your own private island with your colleagues, clients and other guests you maybe entertaining.

Solent Forts Bookings - Update August 2021

As you will be aware the government have stated all restrictions will be lifted in August 2021 but have not guaranteed that restrictions could not be restored later in the year. Whilst this is encouraging for many businesses currently affected by the restrictions it does not change the Forts current position.

The Forts are a unique proposition, and present a lot of logistical challenges, as well as the normal hotel/restaurant operational requirements to meet current regulations. We also need to be aware of our obligation to the Historical significance of our properties and the need to preserve their heritage.

As this situation is unprecedented, we are unsure when it will be safe to reopen, and we will continue to defer a reopening until there is no threat of further restrictions/forced closures and it is safe for both guests and staff, and we will be able to once more offer our guests the best possible experience.

You will appreciate the nature of the current situation and the volume of customer enquiries we are receiving at this time. We are a very small team working on reduced hours and will process all enquiries as soon as possible. Please channel all enquiries through our hello@solentforts.com email address.
